Q: Whom do I contact in the Community and Regional Planning Department at Temple University with additional questions that are not addressed here?

Q: Can I apply electronically?
A: Yes, the online application is here.

Q: Is there financial Aid?
A: Yes. The FAFSA and a financial aid information pamphlet may be obtained and filed online at here or here.

Q: Are there any scholarship opportunities offered as an undergraduate student?
A: Yes, the CRP department offers the Arthur Loeben Scholarship, which is given to a freshman or transfer student majoring in Community and Regional Planning.

We also offer the Toward Sustainability Scholarship, which is offered to a sophomore or a junior majoring in CRP.

There are also several other Ambler campus and Temple main campus scholarship opportunities which may be found here.

Q: What are the career opportunities?
A: Students graduating with a degree in Community and Regional Planning work for government agencies, nonprofit organizations and private consulting or real estate firms.  Students graduating from this field may have opportunities to work with geologists, engineers, architects, politicians, and law makers. Q: What is the Internship?
A: CRP Junior or Senior year students will have to participate in a semester long internship. Each student will select an internship, in coordination with an advisor, based on their personal career interests and goals.  The students often are paid for this and students are graded at the end of the semester. Here is a list of a few locations that students have interned at: Montgomery County Planning Commission, Philadelphia City Planning Commission, Thomas Comitta Associates, Inc., Heritage Conservancy, and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.
