CRP Scholarships

Community and Regional Planning

ARTHUR F. LOEBEN SCHOLARSHIP

  • Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by the chair of the Department of Community and Regional Planning on the basis of academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and interest in the field of planning.

  • The scholarship is awarded each year to a new freshman or transfer student majoring in Community and Regional Planning. Interested applicants must submit a one-page essay describing the importance of planning in their community.

  • Questions regarding this scholarship should be directed to Debra Beck at 267-468-8300.

  • Amount: Renewable $1,000 scholarship. Students may receive the scholarship for up to four years provided they maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and remain enrolled in the Community and Regional Planning bachelor's degree program.

  • Deadline for application: March 21, 2008 (deadline extended).

TOWARD SUSTAINABILITY SCHOLARSHIP

  • This scholarship provides support for a sophomore or junior majoring in Community and Regional Planning who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Recipient must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

  • Questions regarding this scholarship should be directed to Debra Beck at 267-468-8300.

  • Amount: An annual scholarship of $1,000; not renewable.

  • Eligibility: The student must be an Ambler campus sophomore or junior majoring in Community and Regional Planning.

  • Deadline for application: March 21, 2008 (deadline extended).
