Temple University Ambler is in the midst of a capital campaign to raise $3.50 million by the end of 2009. Gifts to Ambler from our alumni and friends support key initiatives and projects that help enhance our students’ experiences each day. Some of our giving priorities include:
- The Learning Center Auditorium – outfitting and equipping the 300-seat auditorium in the new technology and classroom building as a performance space.
- The Landscape Arboretum Fund – enabling the continued growth of the arboretum through a new visitors’ center, in addition to other improvements.
- The School of Environmental Design (SED) Scholarship Fund – supporting worthy students majoring in horticulture, landscape architecture, and planning.
- The Center for Sustainable Communities Endowment – providing financial stability to our CSC, a leader in stormwater management.
- Technology – ensuring that our students stay current by providing them access to the latest cutting-edge technological advances, preparing them for success in their future careers.
- The Ambler Student Experience – enhancing student life on campus by sponsoring student-centered events and activities.
- Research Efforts – continue Temple’s tradition of excellence in research through sponsored faculty projects.
- Community Projects – supporting the community through projects such as Ambler Trails, connecting parts of the campus with the borough of Ambler.
- Environmental Outreach – educating students, staff, municipal officials, and the public on ways to preserve our environment through sustainable communities.
- The Ambler Annual Fund – supporting many projects and programs not included in the operating budget, this unrestricted support is critical to our success.
