Fitness Center
267-468-8151
Burn calories, tighten abs, tone limbs, and stay fit in Ambler’s fully equipped Fitness Center. Aerobic equipment includes Stairmaster, stationary bicycles, cross trainers, Concept II rowers, and treadmills. Strengthening and toning machines include a full line of Life Fitness weight machines, free weights, benches, racks, and dumbbells. Lockers and showers are available (just remember to bring a lock). Entry requires a valid student I.D. card. For a current schedule for the Fitness Center, stop by the gym. A fitness room orientation program is available by appointment by calling Recreation Services.

Indoor/Outdoor Pool
267-468-8152
Dive into one of the best pools in the area! Measuring 25 yards in length, Ambler’s indoor/outdoor pool is open to all Temple students with a valid I.D. At 3 1/2 feet deep, the shallow end enables swimmers to participate in aquatic exercise. The pool staff provides a pace clock to keep track of lap times, aqua belts for water jogging, and kickboards. Lockers and showers are available (remember to bring a lock). A ramp makes the pool fully accessible to the disabled. For a current schedule, stop by the pool.

Sand Volleyball Pit
Spike, bump, and serve in a genuine volleyball pit. Join the fun, whether it’s a match with friends or as part of an intramural team.

Multipurpose Field
Gather your friends and play softball, Frisbee, touch football, soccer, or any other sport on Temple University Ambler’s multipurpose field.

Tennis Courts
Three hard-court tennis courts are available on the Ambler campus grounds. Temple students are welcome to use these facilities from dawn to dusk. Preference is always given to tennis classes. Two of the courts are lighted during the evening from September to November and March to May.
