Overview: The Pennsylvania Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) awarded the Center for
Sustainable Communities at Temple University Ambler $49,830 to evaluate
a market analysis of the 6,249-acre Prince Gallitzin Park in northern
Cambria County.
The DCNR is examining the future use of certain state
parks, predominantly exploring whether certain types of development —
such as rustic lodges — should be allowed within the parks.
A consultant created a market analysis of the
possibility of hospitality industry development in Prince Gallitzin
State Park and Temple University was asked to evaluate that analysis. |
