How can I bring my school to EarthFest? |
Visiting EarthFest is as simple as filling out a short form and letting us know how many students you'd like to bring to the event. Learn more about how you can bring your students to EarthFest.

Is there a fee to visit the event? |
There is no fee for visiting EarthFest and the Junior Flower Show. We invite all area schools and our community neighbors to visit the event and celebrate EarthFest with us!

Is there transportation assistance available? |
Yes. Temple University Ambler, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, offers a program - Transportation Angels - that provides a limited amount of transportation funding to schools with genuine need. Learn more about Transportation Angels.

How can I exhibit at EarthFest? |
Temple University Ambler invites all organizations, businesses, state and local agencies, and high school, middle schools, and elementary schools in the region to take part in EarthFest and share their knowledge with our student visitors! Learn more about becoming an EarthFest exhibitor.

I'm an exhibitor. How do I know where to pick up and drop off items? |
The Exhibitors section of the EarthFest Web site includes detailed instructions and maps for all three areas of the event. Whether you're exhibiting near the Learning Center or to the rear of West Hall, you'll find all of the information you need right here!

Are there special parking considerations during EarthFest? |
Yes. Please note that the Meetinghouse Road entrance into the large parking lot at Temple University Ambler will be closed off the day of EarthFest. Access into and out of the large parking lot will be by Woods Drive (the Butler Pike entrance/exit) only. Schools, let your bus drivers know! Visit here for more information on parking.

How do I become an event sponsor? |
In 2013, we hope to continue expanding this educational festival. EarthFest carries a significant operating cost. Sponsorship gifts offset that cost, enabling us to enhance access to EarthFest for many students, teachers, and community residents throughout the region. Learn how to become an EarthFest sponsor.

What is the Junior Flower Show? |
The Junior Flower Show is a horticultural exhibition by and for school age children in the greater Philadelphia region. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society as an educational project, the Junior Flower Show creates an awareness of horticulture and the natural environment and encourages active participation of youth in growing, gardening, and related activities. How can I enter items in the Junior Flower Show? |
In addition to the horticultural and artistic entries that students can exhibit, several classroom projects are also included.

What are some other ways my students can participate in EarthFest? |
In addition to learning from our more than 85 exhibitors, enjoying the many activities at the EarthFest Main Stage , or participating in the many Junior Flower Show activity stations, students may also participate in the EarthFest Passport. Learn more about this exciting interactive program!

How do I volunteer at EarthFest? |
We could not hold EarthFest without our dedicated group of community, faculty, student, and staff volunteers. Learn how you can become a volunteer at EarthFest.

Will there be food available at EarthFest? |
Yes, there will be food and beverages for sale. However, if your students are bringing their lunches, you may wish to put all bagged lunches in a box and mark the outside of the box with your school’s name and grade. All lunches can be stored on designated tables in the Food Tent near the bus parking area.

Are there items to purchase? |
Yes. There will be items, such as t-shirts, books, and food available for purchase at EarthFest. Please let your students know that they will have opportunities to purchase souvenirs at the event.

Are classes in session at Ambler the day of EarthFest? |
Yes. Please remind children that Temple students will be attending classes that day in several of the buildings. Children should remain with their chaperones at all times and not wander through the buildings. EarthFest visitors are not permitted inside the classroom buildings.

Your gardens are beautiful! Can I take a tour? |
Absolutely! The Ambler Campus is a designated arboretum. Tours are available by making arrangements with the Arboretum director. Self-guided tours are also available each day until dusk. Tours will be given during EarthFest at 10 a.m. and Noon. Learn more about the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University.

What should I do if a student should become lost? |
Please let your students know that should they become lost or separated from your group that they should go to one of the INFORMATION tables indicated on the EarthFest and Junior Flower Show map. We suggest that you also provide them with a CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER so that we can reach you if students are separated from their groups.
