Please be aware that there is a Temple Security Station at the Temple Train Station throughout the evening. The Campus Owl Loop stops at the Temple Train Station every 20 minutes from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., seven days a week. In addition, Temple Police actively patrol the campus during the evening and night.
For those students who live at Main Campus or in the surrounding area, Temple offers “to your door services” through the Temple TUrDoor Shuttle, which is available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. seven days a week loading at the 12th Street Main Campus Hub. A map of the Temple TUrDoor service area is available at www.temple.edu/facilities/pdf/owlloop.pdf.
Here is an example of how a student could utilize these various transportation options: A student traveling from Ambler to Main Campus following a class ending at 7:30 p.m. would walk to the Ambler Shuttle Hub near East Hall where the shuttle departs at 7:35 p.m. and arrives at the Ambler Train Station at 7:50 p.m. The student would catch the 8:06 p.m. train and arrive at the Main Campus Station at 8:34 p.m. The student could then catch the Owl Loop Shuttle to any one of 15 different stops throughout Main Campus. If the student lived in an area where he/she needed “to your door” service, they would exit the Owl Loop at the 12th St. Hub and board the TUrDoor Shuttle.
